My name is Krissy, though online I always use the name Maqeurious (Maqi). I'm a kiwi, which is a New Zealander, for those that don't know, but am living in Kalgoorlie, Australia. When I'm not doing the usual chores I'm either writing, playing video games, reading or watching movies/tv series on DVD. I'm a huge anime, Family Guy and American Dad fan and usually have one of those playing constantly in the background while I'm writing. Seriously, I can't remember the last time I actually turned the tv on and watched it.

If I'm not using my favorite programs to get the juices flowing, then I'm listening to music. Mainly Within Temptation, Nightwish, Pendulum, Apocalyptica, and other gothic symphonic masterpieces. These bands get the 'fantasy' writer in me going. If I'm writing for more a sci-fi genre, like my Mass Effect stories, then I tend to lean towards more metal or rock. It's funny how different music can influence different styles of writing in me.
